He is Unchanging

Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

Is this true when your mother gets sick with pancreatic cancer when you have a five year little girl, a two year old boy, and a baby boy and you are just wanting to enjoy all the sweetness of young children? YES

Is this true when your mother dies five years later? YES

Is this true when a year later your precious dad is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease? YES

Is this true when your dear friend and aunt is taken from you from the same disease that took your mother just three years later? YES

Is this true when someone who is dear to you struggles with something that you have prayed for years to go away? YES

Is this true when you pray that your dad’s mind would stay sharp until the end and it doesn’t? YES

Is this true when your dad dies after a year of suffering due primarily to isolation due to Covid? YES

Is this true when you have prayed consistently and persistently for a year for covid to go away? YES

Is this true when you have prayed for your family to come to faith in Christ and they haven’t? YES

Is this true when your mother in law is diagnosed with cancer just three months after your dad dies? YES

Is this true when you have prayed and prayed and prayed and the answer is “no, no, no?” YES

These are the questions that I have been thinking about these last weeks and I feel heavy hearted. Can you tell?

Oh Lord, I believe, but help my unbelief!

I am wondering if you are struggling like me? What should we do? Let’s run to Him. I am going to remind you of who God is…remember the ABC’s of God?

Blessings to you.

I loved seeing you as you shared the ABC’s and who we are in Christ! You are loved, with an everlasting love. You can rest in Him because He is our Peace. He is the faithful One, always faithful. We will pray for all your concerns and cares. We are good, we both had the virus when we got back from Florida, but it was nothing. We have no after effects Praise Him! In March we will celebrate our 50th anniversary. We plan to have an outdoor party opening Saturday of Family Camp 6. We Love you & will pray!
