His mercies are new for another day. Praise the Lord! Can you see them?
I see His new mercies in my husband reminding of this truth upon first greeting me this morning. I see His new mercies in the amazing sunrise this morning. I see His new mercies in my children! I see His new mercies in my Christmas decor sparkling all over our home. I see His new mercies in reading the account of the angels worshipping the Lord, the One who is worthy of all praise.
Where do you see His mercies new today? The Lord is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Every truth about who He is remains unchanged day in and day out and so these truths that we have focused on all month are the same, yet new for another day. With that, let’s remind ourselves of who God is in the person of Jesus and who you are in Him.

Philippians 4:8
Luke 2:8-14 And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
“Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”
Who is God in the person of Christ? He is Worthy of our praise!
Revelation 4:11 “WORTHY are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”
Who are we in Him? We are bowed down in worship.
And I (John) heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying,
“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”
And the four living creatures said, “Amen!” and the elders FELL DOWN and worshiped.
You don’t have to come to Him perfect, you just have to come. He is the Perfect One; the only One worthy of praise. I am attaching two beautiful songs today. One is about us coming to the Lord in all our messiness and the other is about remembering that it is only Him who is worthy of our praise. Enjoy!
