Heather Haas

I grew up in Waconia, MN where I met my high school sweetheart, Paul. I attended the University of Minnesota receiving a degree in Elementary Education and Piano Performance. Upon graduation and five years of dating, I married Paul on July 11, 1992. During our second year of marriage, we moved to Guam in the north Pacific where I taught 2nd grade.

After two years, we moved back to Minnesota and had our five children over a 14 year span. God blessed us with a wonderful son-in-law in 2016. We were also blessed with two precious grandsons in 2017 and 2020. Moreover, a granddaughter arrived in 2023. I love being a Nonna. The Lord has continued to bless us with the addition of two daughter-in-laws in January of 2025.

I enjoy mentoring younger moms, talking to women’s groups, and writing at When You Pray.
