A couple of weeks ago my husband was flying early in the morning and texted me a video from his “office window” of what he was observing with a caption that said, “His mercies are new every morning.” Here is the video:
Who is God? He is the Creator!
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1)
“In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word (Jesus) was with God, and the Word (Jesus) was God. He (Jesus) was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him (Jesus), and without Him (Jesus) was not any thing made that was made. In Him (Jesus) was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” (John 1:1-5)
“For His invisible attributes, namely, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.” (Romans 1:20)
The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
Day to day pours out speech,
and night to night reveals knowledge.
There is no speech, nor are there words,
whose voice is not heard.
Their voice goes out through all the earth,
and their words to the end of the world. (Psalm 19:1-4)
I had great, great aunt Agnes who prayed fervently that her family would come to faith in Jesus. Unbeknownst to her, her prayers began being answered in the life of a young boy who lay awake gazing into the starry host of the night sky and wondering, “How did they get there? They could not have possibly just happened. There must be a Creator.” This began a quest in the life of this boy to find out who the Creator was. He wondered about Him when out walking in nature, when ice skating, when cross-country skiing, when hiking in the Austrian alps, when in the embrace of his beautiful bride, when holding his baby girls upon each of their births, when…when…when…until the Lord, in His perfect timing, reached down and gave this boy, now a man, the gift of faith in Jesus. That little boy was my dad, Norman. The Lord revealed Himself to my dad in what He had created. Amazing grace!

How is the Lord revealing Himself to you? Is He doing it through His creation as well? I sure hope so!
Blessings to you,
Heather
