Last week I took down Christmas and put up winter which includes all things sparkly…crystal, silver, and twinkly white lights. It looks so beautiful and I call it Winter Sparkle.

Who is God?  He is BEAUTIFUL.

What does it mean to gaze upon the BEAUTY OF THE LORD?

1. It means to see Him in who He is.
   • The ABC’s of Who God Is!
2. It means to see Him in who you are in Him.
   • The ABC’s of Who You are in Him!
3. It means to see Him in all of His promises.
   • Deuteronomy 31:6 says, “The Lord your God goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”
4. It means to see Him in creation like the incredible change of the seasons.
   • Job 37:10 says, “By the breath of God ice is given, and the broad waters are frozen fast.”
5. It means to see Him in my grandsons. He knit these precious boys together in their mama’s womb and they are fearfully and wonderfully made.
6. It means to see Him in my children. They are God’s good gifts and each of them reflect His beauty in amazing ways that bless me beyond measure.
7. It means to see Him in my husband. He is my dearest friend this side of heaven.
8. AND….It also means to see Him when I have made a mess of things like today when I raised my voice at my precious daughter. I see His beauty in forgiving me.
9. And…It also means to see Him when messes just happen like this past Monday when our shower decided to drain through the toilet spraying water all over our bathroom. I see His beauty in the provision of a dear friend who opened her home to us all day to use her bathroom and in the provision of a trained plumber.

This is just the tip of the iceberg of places where I see His beauty today.  Where to you see the beauty of the Lord in all the good and in all the hard?  Put your pen to paper and write these down and put them in places to remind you of His beauty.
